...because we've stayed in villas with glacially slow "free wifi" that you can just about use in the corner of one room stood on one leg... until one of the kids uses the bandwidth at the same time

A holiday should be relaxing and that means proper WiFi - especially if you need to do some work while you're here (sorry for mentioning it) so here's all you need to know about our WiFi

Casa Hugo has a NOWO 250 Mb Internet package with unlimited data. NO DONGLES! Actual speed will vary depending on where you are in the villa but b u f f e r  i  n   g  shouldn't be a problem unless the network needs resetting by powering the lounge router and mesh discs down for a few seconds each - vacant periods can slow the system down. The discs are located in the basement, in the lounge behind the TV, and by the door to the roof terrace. Within a few minutes of resetting all should be well

We have a high speed router linked to dual band Mesh WiFi covering the entire property with one seamless network Reinforced concrete villa construction means a mesh install is essential for full coverage across all four floors and outside

Our commercial spec repeaters are the same as those used in schools and hospitals and are capable of 450 and 850 Mbps across dual bands meaning the hardware can cope with everything NOWO can give us

You'll get a WiFi signal everywhere in the villa including the roof terrace and almost all of the garden

Find the 'Casa Hugo' WiFi network, enter the password provided, and all your devices are good to go

Casa Hugo has free Netflix! As of 2023 Casa Hugo has it's own Netflix.PT account - note content may vary between countries. It's Full HD and allows two TVs to run Netflix at once

The Smart TVs in the lounge, bedrooms 1 & 2 and the basement also all have YouTube and other apps

 The Nowo Internet package also includes 90 international TV channels on the lounge TV

We've even got a DVD player and a full drawer of films to keep the kids entertained after a long day at the beach or in the pool
