Meia Praia

"Half Beach" - Lagos's biggest beach and one of the quietest, largest and longest beaches in the whole of the Algarve. A crescent of powder soft sand stretching for well over 4 kilometres from the Old Town right across to Ria de Alvor. 

Never busy - the further east you go the quieter it gets.

Backed by sand dunes and several chilled-out beach bar/restaurants - sunbeds and umbrellas are available - this almost deserted beach is one of our favourites. 

Because of the shelter provided by the headland of Ponta da Piedade it's usually a calm beach, with a gentle breeze but no big waves.
